(1) The finish
Blasted with fine glass beads at 150 grit. Thousands of micro-impacts leave a uniform matte texture that runs every way at once, an even, light-absorbing surface.
A uniform fine blast at 180 grit, then an electrochemical bath that pulls the surface back. What is left is smooth under the hand, with the shape of the metal doing the work.
A horizontal grain at 240 grit, fine enough to feel smooth under your thumb and coarse enough to read clearly in light. It softens the reflection without hiding it, and keeps a metallic warmth.
